Ivette is a 2020 graduate of the UC Riverside in environmental sciences program. She leads the CARB Year 2 Community Air Grant at UC Riverside's Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT). Ivette is also a fellow of the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability.
Dr. Abiola Lawal
Abi is a 2021 graduate of the Georgia Tech environmental engineering Ph.D. program. She is an awardee of the inaugural class of ASEE eFellowship scholars. She conducts research on the air quality impacts of urban infrastructure and the health impacts of wintertime air pollution.
Khanh is a Ph.D. candidate in the UC Riverside chemical and environmental engineering program. He is currently leading research on machine learning and advanced computational hardware for air pollution predictions.
Jennifer is a Ph.D. student in the UC Berkeley ESPM department and an NSF GRFP awardee. She is currently leading research on VOC characterization in indoor household environments.
Yi is a graduate student in the environmental engineering program at UC Berkeley. She leads research that investigates the challenges of communicating wildfire exposure risks to the public.
Duncan is a graduate student in the environmental engineering program at UC Berkeley. He leads research on the development of air quality modeling tools for community applications and the use satellite imagery for air pollution management.
Cam is a graduate student in the environmental engineering program at UC Berkeley. She leads research on wintertime air pollution during inversion events.
April is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in data science and sustainable environmental design. She assists with satellite data analysis to support smoke exposure research.
Andrea is an environmental sciences undergraduate student at UC Riverside. She is a lead undergraduate researcher for the CARB Year 2 Community Air Grant. She is a former 2022 NASA SARP fellow and is now an intern in NASA's Digital Earth Virtual and Learning Outreach Program.
Charlotte is a post-baccalaureate scholar at UC Berkeley. She is a lead researcher for the CARB Year 2 Community Air Grant. She is a former 2022 SURF UROC Gates Foundation fellow and is now a fellow of the Young Climate Leaders of Color program.
UC Riverside and Riverside City College volunteers support the CARB Community Air Grant research efforts. UC Berkeley undergraduates support our EPA STAR research.
